This is incorrect. It was done the other way round.
The Minister-President posted her statement announcing that TNI was giving five-days' notification, in advance of the termination of the treaty, in TNI's embassy on the forums of The South Pacific first, at 6.02am UTC+1 on 23 July 2014. She then posted the same statement in TNI's embassy in the Gameplay forums shortly afterwards, at 6.05am UTC+1 on 23 July 2014. This ordering was specifically chosen to comply with the provisions of the treaty, so the announcement in the Gameplay forums was not made before official notification was actually rendered. TNI always strove to fulfil its obligations.
The South Pacific has not yet delivered the required notification (to begin the five-day period following which the treaty is terminated) in their embassy in Balder, despite it being over three days since the termination of the treaty was announced in the Gameplay forums. By contrast, TNI delivered the relevant notification before we made the announcement in the Gameplay forums. There is no comparison between how TSP and TNI have handled the matter.

If the primary reason for ending the alliance had been that we felt it was no longer mutually beneficial because of insufficient communication or other long-term concerns, we would have endeavoured to discuss it with TSP in advance of delivering the notification that the treaty would be terminated.
However, rather than termination stemming from long-term factors about the utility of the alliance, TNI terminated our treaty with TSP as an immediate reaction to a specific event - TSP passing a treaty with TRR - which meant there was absolutely nothing to discuss. TNI's position (that a mutual treaty with TRR was incompatible with remaining allied to TNI) was sufficiently clear that our likely reaction was predicted in TSP's cabinet and assembly. Despite the open predictions it would mean the end of the alliance, neither you nor any other TSP official raised the issue with TNI. It would have been inappropriate (and doubtless would have provoked criticism of TNI) to initiate discussions aimed at persuading TSP not to pursue the treaty when it was publicly debating the matter in its assembly, so the onus was on you to contact us if you wanted to talk about the matter. Once the deed was done, our course was clear.
