Charter of The Invader Network

We, the sovereign invader regions of the world, are hereby determined:

To forge a meritocratic invader alliance comprised of individuals from many different regions around the world who have bound together with a common purpose - to combat the defender scourge;

To unite marginalized invaders through the effective education of aspiring gameplayers in the art of invading through the promotion and spread of raider ideals;

To eradicate the fruitless political institutions that defenders have created to justify their dying cause;

To abide by all NationStates rules of conduct and to eschew the use of illegal methods in the pursuit of our ideology;

And to bring all enemies of the state to their knees through an eternal war against all that oppose these underlying principles.

We, the following signatories, agree to the above terms without reserve and hereby establish The Invader Network.

Declaration of Formation of The Invaders
14 June 2016

Twelve years ago to this very day, three regions came together in order "to enhance the dying production of the invader cause... Here is a new alliance, of prime incorporations to create a brand-new raider region to mark the beginning of a mint time, a novel age, the Age of Invaders." Nothing can undermine the powerful legacy the Invaders of old has left behind. The Invaders of new and The Invader Network shall thrive under this legacy.

The following terms have been chosen by The Invaders Command Council to make public for all to witness:

• Scripts will not be utilized in any operation conducted by The Invaders.
  
• All Delete-on-Sight players will be avoided, ignored, and blacklisted.
  
• All soldiers will be held responsible and accountable for all independent script usage. Illegal script usage will result in a permanent ban from the Invaders and an immediate report to NationStates Moderation.

Given that The Invaders is being run by Knot/Ivo, formerly of DEN, I'm going to retain healthy skepticism until proven otherwise. I hope The Communist Bloc knows what it's getting itself into working with a region run by DEN's most active Brigadier General, and for that matter working with The Kingdom of Great Britain. There is a reason The Black Hawks blacklisted Knot and Vac.

As an invader, I led DEN and The Black Hawks to help take The Greater German Reich (earning TRF's "wound stripe") and was part of its eventual refounding effort. This is the nation, still resting in the locked GGR, I used on that very night.

Your anti-fascist credentials aren't the source of my skepticism. My skepticism is regarding you leading another raider region, let alone an organization that combines the military power of three regions.

This is not to say I hope it will go badly. It's just to say I'm waiting to see, and Osiris won't be participating in any military operations lead by The Invaders or The Invader Network until this is proven to be reputable -- over the course of months.

I must say, now that we know Ivo's behind the creation, it all does rather make sense doesn't it? Just like his predecessors dragged the name of one famous historical organization through the dirt, so it seems he'll be doing it with another historical invader region.

Given Ivo's past actions and rather evident lack of regret and repentance, I only worry for those aligning themselves alongside this project and what I wager will be eventual flak from high-up in regards to it.

I like the idea of not using scrips in this region to avoid that sort of disaster. Will all triggering be manual? With lots of infiltrating and stuff? no tag raids? Curious what style this region will do..

Speaking of history, did you alert any existing members of The Invaders before you started this region back up? If you wanted to lead a new raiding region, just think up of a new idea, instead of diving into the NS archives and pulling out yet another dusty and dead name to use.

Let me be on the record as saying that I do hope this goes poorly. I'm not at all amazed that this is happening nor am I surprised that this element of invaderdom refuses to learn its lesson. There are players that are going to get hurt in relation to their involvement here, whether it be through rules violations or otherwise, and I'm not going to feel the least bit sorry for them.
