Looking for a new, serious, somewhat roleplaying region. It should be modern tech or future tech. Also, it would be better if it had it's own map with Poland and Slovakia open.

I think Kingdom of Alexandria would be right up your alley. They are a feudal-style government along with serious RP. And when you want to just chill, their chat is always active.

Though the definition of 'new' is different to every person, The New Earth (my region) is relatively young and a RPing region. We do roleplays with your player nation (so I roleplay as Avagra) with an alternate history modern Earth, a regional map, news threads, and many ongoing RP's. We have had many nations just join this week so we'd love to have more. We are serious in RPing but the regional message board is always OCC and for fun. Great community plus a lot of monarchies.

I would like a region that uses RL geography (preferably uses both RL and fictional geography depending on situation, but not a requirement) with heavy RP, where Ireland is unclaimed thus far.

Grand Central would probably be your cup of tea. We have an offsite forum, a fictional map and we're incredibly active and we're fairly new (in this reincarnation anyway!).

almost all of Europe is unclaimed at aod

I.. more of less understand how everything works here.

I'm looking for a region that's in a modern timeframe, has a good map, a good RP community, and preferably no offsite forms.

I hate to say it man, but the region seems very... Reclusive? Like people are active in the RMB, but it seems everything's established.
It's hard to get involved in much of anything.

come to Sunalaya! We have elections for the delegate and vice-delegate, as well as quite a few other officer roles, all the while we are a talkative, friendly, multinational region with tons of roleplays to join!
