The category of best fit for this thread would be technical.
NationStates currently does not have the ability to simulate inflation directly, but NSEconomy indirectly calculates exchange rates according to the power of the economy, which could be interpreted as an indirect effect of inflation. However, inflation is largely something that has to be roleplayed in the forums or on wikis such as IIwiki, NSindex et al.
