Also i'd like to unofficially nominate Ever-Wandering Souls, I don't have enough info to do a proper nomination for them, but they've always seemed to be a fairly classy raider, and I tend to hold that as the most important quality a real raider can have. Also pretty sure I saw them lead / oversee one of this years large raids, can't recall which or if i'm just mistaken. :P

Edit: It was the South Pacific! (If this is enough info, consider it an official nomination)

Make that two ;)

Update on the raid will be posted here in a few hours, see the next issue of Hell's Bells for the full story!

There were Raiders back in 2004 that most of the forum players have never heard of such as Winky Woo and Mississippi Rio.
We shall see how this plays out.

I nominate Ever Wandering Souls. He represents the face of the new NS generation, a true raiding visionary and perhaps the best raider NS will ever see again. Clever of mind but, humble and kind to all a pure raider.

My other nom goes to Koth II. Koth is one of the finest raiders we've seen.

I'll second a nomination for Wraithfin. A damn good rider, and hard ass. I would ride with him any day of the week.

He may be a defender now, but I'll be damned if I don't nominate Syl.
He's easily one of the friendliest R/D players you'll ever meet.
He soldiered through updates with us when he was fighting cancer, and wasn't late to a jump once.
He was responsible for hitting 70some regions, breaking the at the time record, despite only having a 50 minutes update
He was present for every occupation preformed by TBR for the year of 2014
And he's an awesome friend

THE BLACK RIDERS RECLAIMED

Region to serve as Gameside base of Operation and chat area for RaiderCon

Image

As many of you now know, Harenhime is not who he seemed to be. This illusive figure was, in reality, a Raider plant the entire time. But this task could not have been completed alone....

Image

Months ago, The Black Riders fell to a force of Natives, who began to build a new world there. Little did they know, The Raiders have many eyes, and many ears - many of which were placed inside. Seizing chances as they came, a network of 13 insiders utilizing over two dozen identities developed within the region.

Image

With much work, extensive planning, and impeccable timing, the group managed to make Harenhime delegate for life by rigging the constitutional vote, then eventually seize all ministerial positions via further rigging of votes and careful politicking.

Image

When the day came to strike, the massed fleets of Albion, The Eastern Pacific Sovereign Army, and Sanctum moved in directly after minor update, backed by sabotage inside the region from the infiltrating commandos of The Black Hawks, The Brotherhood of Malice, Unknown, and DEN, along with several freelancers. Soon after, further reinforcements from Lone Wolves United, The New Inquisition, and Funen arrived along with yet more freelancers.

We invite any and all other members of NS to join the party, come to TBR, endorse Harenhime, chat on the RMB, and register for RaiderCon - for which the TBR RMB will serve as a gameside socialization hub.

Let it be remembered, Raiders are not a force to me mocked - certainly not by building a defending democracy on a former home to many of our ilk.

Huzzah!

Keep your eyes out for the upcoming issue of Hell's Bells, featuring an exclusive interview with yours truly, concerning in part this very operation.

And now? What next? One over long defensive pile for what exactly?

Raiders should raid, not gather to hedgehog defense around the already rotten carcass of horse.

Agreed. After this... but only if raiderdom decides end being defenders. The act itself was the demonstration of power, and the symbol the End of the TBR's second era. After this it can easily transform to the strategic level loss of initiative. Moving to defense is something I cannot subscribe.

Add: Translated to form of Daily order:

Reinforce TBR defense always you can. Endorse only delegate. Switch your WA-puppet after every update if you're raider piler. Vote against SC liberations.

Pile, pile, pile for your regionalist 'home sick', neglect your possibilities as raider updater, and defend the most notorious region ever in NS, using your 'main nation' for that.

lol No way!

"Regionalist home sick"? Almost all of the people piling for this operation aren't even originally from TBR, and the purpose of the op is to use an old invader stronghold as the base for a Raider Convention involving all forms of R/D. Not regionalist. Not 'homesick'. Get your facts straight.

"Neglect your possibilities as raider updater"? The possibility of going out and tagging 20 regions with inactive founders, dead communities, etc? The people that 'neglect' those 'possibilities' are doing that because they don't want to tag. How's that so fuckin' hard to understand?

"defend the most notorious region ever in NS" - They took control of the region via the delegacy. The only thing they'd be "defending" it from is a liberation. My golly, that almost sounds like... an occupation! That's because it is, Cora. You've been in enough of them in TBR and DEN. You know what they are. Stop bullshitting.

I swear, you do this kind of "Play the game my way!" shit constantly, most of the time not making a bit of sense while you do it, and it's why DEN sees raiders as skilled as Aurum taking up residence in Albion. You drive people away with it. The only reasons you're still accepted in raiderdom are your 'ludicrous dedication' as Koth once put it, and the fact you're not a horrible person off-site.
