Thank you Kazmr and Funkadelia, and everyone else who fought on the side of the resistance. I knew we'd see this to victory in the end, but I didn't expect it would be in sight so soon. Now, that we've got the delegacy back, let's put an end to this for good.

A rather large error in judgement from the NPO apparently. :o

I'll hold off on getting all excited until everything is safe again, right now the NPO still have a considerable foothold, but it's nice to see all hope isn't yet lost!

Indeed. Although I would classify it more as an error in judgement on the part of the NLO since this was their plan.

I am remarkably pleased to see this. Well done, Kazmr.

I like being proven wrong sometimes.

Bitch, you better get out of this thread with all that bullshit before I shit on you.

And nations wonder why I believe The Pacific to be the only truly enlightened cultural phenomenon left in NS.

Because you don't have any idea what an enlightened culture is?

If the quotation above from your apparent comrade-in-arms is what you consider to be enlightened culture, then you are 100% correct.

Greater Mercateria extends the warmest of congratulations to the restored People's Republic of Lazarus , which has always been the rightful and legitimate government of the region in precedent and law.

With democracy and order, Lazarus can truly bloom.

I guess that the NPO made a severe error there, at least for them.
Nothing like a holy traitor.
Congatulations to Lazarus!

The "apparent comrade-in-arms" that you're using to define the entire culture of the rest of NationStates is the currently Delete-on-Sight player Frak.

I was not utilizing the example as reflective of the entire culture of the rest of NS.

Congratulations. I'm pleased to see the talk of democratic reforms to move Lazarus away from the NPO-light era of the PRL and into line with progressive thinking. The return of the emerald flying over Lazarus is also a welcome sight.

Very glad to see a sovereign government in Laz. Great to see the NPOs colonial ambitions in the GCRs fail and a return to democratic self governance by real feederites.

Will those purged by the PRL be allowed back into the region?

*is curious*

I'm sorry, did you miss where Senator A mean old man of the New Pacific Order announced Lazarus' annexation, which had previously been backed by (now former) Regent and Senator Feux? I applaud your obvious decision to throw Feux and AMOM under the bus for the collective crimes of the NPO, but let's not pretend there was any distinction between the NPO and the NLO.

Great work. I was wondering if there was a sleeper among the ranks. Had there not been, it could've been a very, very difficult revolution against the NPO.

I did miss that somehow considering that AMOM is not a member of the New Pacific Order but was instead included in the Senate of the NLO, which was a wholly different construct, which many here have labelled as a 'sub-Senate' or colonial state. To attempt to claim that the NLO spoke for the NPO after the fact reeks of revisionism.

I make no apologies for the actions of the NPO but I do acknowledge that some parties may have made judgement errors in their associations and that this is being handled internally. That said, AMOM has not spoken on behalf of The Pacific for a very long time now and likely will not in the foreseeable future.
