I confess that I would be more comfortable if there were possible questions and results featuring other popular political and military ideologies such as "neutral", "imperialist", "independent".

I noticed on the original test I went from regionalist defender to cosmopolitan raider as my career in Osiris gathered steam and I learnt more about the game. I'm putting that shift down to the conflicts Osiris was having internally with defenders for much of that time which influenced my perception of them. Contrary to the earliest periods where I was far too willing and naive when it came to raiders and found it believable what I was told. *yawn*

I chose the "no preference" option a lot for the R/D test and very rarely if at all shifted the "priority" bar. I predicted defenderist, because I'd be an idiot otherwise. My actual preference is "neutral".

Onto the regionalist/cosmopolitan test, I actually have no issues about the results available, as a diplomat I have often had to remind regional leaders and chief executives of the possible consequences of certain actions and I have tended to be visible in various regional communities as a way of expanding my circle of connections and contacts.

It has been a long time since I have solely given all of my time to one region. Once I entered the field of diplomacy I decided I'd be able to experience a lot more if I actually explored various regions and got to know various people. That is around the time my alignment started shifting as I mentioned above.

As for this, I've always found it hard to place me in either the cosmopolitan camp or the regionalist camp. I have, at time, supported restricting citizens to WA members (I argued for this in Osiris), but I no longer support that with any vigor. I do think there are people who definitely should be viewed with suspicion for how many regions they're in, but that's not a universal litmus test for me. I also think the whole idea of patriotism/nationalism in NS regions is dumb and unhealthy and discourages community growth.

On a side-note, "Cosmopolitanist" is very ear-grating.

I agree. To be honest, I think the term 'Interregionalist' would have been more appropriate, but I was focused on staying true to the original test. The test also doesn't take into account Anti-positions. Anti-Establishment(Anti-Regionalists) people will get lumped in with the internationalists for example.
