Sadly, most speculations on the nature of [violet] quickly turn to the absurd. Some say she's Max's wife. Others say she's Max in a dress. Still others say she is not a person at all, but rather a hyper-intelligent AI. Another popular claim is that every other person on the site is actually [violet] and that the person asking is the only actual human on the site at all. Alternatively, that the person asking is [violet], laying a false trail to confuse the subject further. Some rumors say she's one of the server hamsters who in a freak accident became intelligent and now rules the rest of the server hamsters.

Then, of course, there's the mods, and although we know the dark truth, we have far more fun fueling the confusion and speculation.
