NationStates Real World Meet Ups

Have there ever been any real world NS meetings? I know a few people know each other in RL, and a few people have deliberately or accidentally met up, but has there ever been a larger scale meet-up?

There was a 10 year Anniversary for NS hosted all over the world. I think the London one, which myself, Karputsk, HY, Luna Dancing, Minoa and eek I forget the other guy all met up. Was a fun day in all.

Eras and Gaspo did a cross country trek, meeting NSers along the way.

IIRC, Nevadar, Thel, JAL and a couple others met someplace on the east coast.

Neenee and Zorn invited a handful of NSers to. Their wedding.

I have met a few but never in large groups. And I would jump at the chance to hang with fellow NSgeeks.

I think it would be interesting. If anyone plans one in the UK I'd come along.

Sauron and I almost met in RL but never quite did. I almost met Dipes too.

This would indeed be interesting - but I'm in the middle of no-where, way up in the North-East of Scotland, so attending such things would be a pain in the ass.

Me and other people in our region talk about it all the time.. May not happen soon but we plan on it possibly going down in a while when more people have an easy means of getting around.

I met one in Denver, when I was traveling through Colorado. There are few people around my area Northern California & the not too far Sacramento.

After looking at the "What do you Look Like" thread I actually saw one NSer on the street, though they would have remembered me as Releign or Verdum(older nations of mine) and I kind of skipped away at full speed to avoid them.

I almost met Avakael but we had a mix up on the weekend when I was in his state. I was *this* close to getting Real Life revenge for his invasion of Airspace 2 years ago.

Mcma needs to comes across to the real side of Australia. Grim and Awe were too scared to meet me when I was in their areas.

Actually, I've convinced some of my friends to join the game, but I'm afraid that it doesn't count. I haven't meet anyone else in the country at the banks of Vistula...

Tierra is Australian, I am from Utah. That's why it was such a big deal.

I also met Lichto, our previous delegate, a few weeks ago, and just finished a pleasant afternoon with someone who used to go by Boolari in XKI. All four of us go back a decade. It's been really great.
