About the British Isles:
The British Isles was founded on the 29th April 2012 by Neisse. The region has so far seen three monarchs, a lot of executives alongside the successful formation of a tight-knit community both on the regional message board and offsite forums. We are becoming one of the largest and most successful British themed regions in NationStates.

The Prime Minister Anthony Norfolk has been pleased to accept the invitation of a State Visit to the Kingdom of Great Britain from His Imperial Majesty King-Emperor George on behalf of all members of the British Isles Government. Delegates from the British Isles shall receive a ceremonial welcome before being taken to see Westminster Abbey, the Palace of Westminster and the University of Cambridge. The events shall conclude on Monday 22nd with a farewell at St. James's Palace.

Tony Benn has been appointed Prime Minister by King John II after a vote of the House of Commons with 4 ayes to 1 abstention. The Leader of the Labour Party has since announced his Cabinet, promoting former Prime Minister William Bowes-Lyon to Deputy Prime Minister.

This term we have the opportunity to form a coalition united for the betterment of the British Isles and deliver reform to propel ourselves forward. I very much look forward to working with my colleagues to make sure that we can achieve that.
