Defenders seem more focused on politics and propaganda, at the moment, particularly in the GCRs, than on actually defending. My guess is they see this as a long-term strategy to recruit more entire regions into the defender sphere, giving them a larger pool of individual recruits to work with when they resume more actively defending.

If the strategy actually works, it's probably the best strategy they could pursue, as they can't accomplish much of anything with their dwindling numbers. Unfortunately for defenders, while it was active the UDL did so much to burn so many GCRs, and the FRA has done its part to burn active UCRs, that this strategy isn't likely to be effective anytime soon.

TRR has been a member of the FRA for over six years and I don't see how we've ever been "burnt" by the FRA. TNI? Sure. But not the FRA. We've played a big role in the FRA and the FRA has always played a strong diplomatic partner to us. It's an interregional arrangement that works for us. Before FRA, TRR was an ADN member.

We've always liked to be apart of something on a global scale. Rejects don't just sit on the sidelines.

If you'll read my post again, you'll see that I said the UDL had burnt various GCRs while the FRA had done its part by burning various active UCRs. It's pretty well known that the FRA doesn't like to be told no when it decides it wants a region to be a member region, and their record of infiltrating sovereign, non-defender regions to wreak havoc on their governments is also pretty well known.

Hardly. FRA is usually slow to even accept new member regions. I know when I was AC, I was frustrated that the FRA's RA usually wasn't too keen on new member-regions. I had had five regions lined up to join the Alliance and two of them were rejected and the other three's admittance got tied up for months.

Being honest - I've probably done 10 updates in my time as a raider (I prefer the bigger hits) and not once have I had TITO step in.

Probably because they don't care about you or they're dealing with TBR. Could be a mix.

Really depends on the region you are invading. If its a puppet dump with absolutely 0 native WAs, its very likely you will not see TITO. I don't know what you consider a big hit, but if it was actually a "big" hit, TITO was likely there. Then again I doubt you'd recognize a TITO nation if you saw one. Many groups don't.

I was actually banned from 10KI a little over a month ago

True though, until then, TITO was coming from there. My friends and I still use that outpost though.

I have got to say - that banning; good on ya mate. Was actually surprised on the matter...would never have expected it. Than again I never payed much attention to TKI.

The fact that most of them don't have 500 puppets makes it easier for them to blend in. Answer your issues every day, bounce around a bit, and don't draw attention to yourself. TITO has been doing that for years, and it works great. Check out Sichuan Pepper (a.k.a Wordy).

Still trying to figure out who Eist is though. I suspect Grub, but can't be sure....

Erm... thanks I guess? Wasn't quite my intention. How did you know enough about my banning to be surprised by it if you did not even know that I was no longer in TITO? :p

No I meant I didn't suspect it to come from you - in TKI. Just though that size meant invulnerable; wasn't the case obviously. I have really little knowledge in the way of any defender organisation to be frank. I run regions...and have raiders deal with those I dislike. It's the way it works~

What was your intention with all that anyway?

I had intended to finish out my term as delegate which I thought was going quite well. I was just as blindsided as everyone else when I was banned.

But back on topic... defenders are still here. We even got a lib tonight.
