Does anybody have a clue what happened?

Couple of weeks ago MicroGlup was sitting at 7th least devout in NS (had been there for a few months) and I was working hard to get it lower but NOW suddenly it's jumped to 25th! No changes in policy - how on earth can it change so suddenly?

Your rank can change if other people overtake you. Which is probably what happened here.

You may not have had any policy changes, but others around you probably changed theirs and thus upset the ranking.

That'll be due to the refactor affecting how government spending (in your case, specifically on Spirituality) is measured.

None of those seems to suit this case. I had been at number 8 for a couple of years then moved up one place to 7 and stayed there for over a year. I know the issues concerning this and have been consistent in my choice - to suddenly drop 20 odd places overnight is extraordinary!

Did you follow the link in Sedge's post just before yours? NS recently changed the way certain things are calculated, changing spending amounts and WA rankings across the board.

Hi, new to the game and writing things for the WA. I have an idea for an Act that could set up guidelines on how to deal with political refugees seeking asylum but have no idea how to write or categorize it. Does anyone have any links to forum topics, guides, or advice that could help? Thanks!

What you describe would be a General Assembly resolution, so you might want to check here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=159348

That isn't exactly a "Gameplay" topic -- you'll have more luck in the GA forum.

And, once you have some idea where to go, you can always post a draft thread in that forum - in fact, it's highly advised before submitting! There, the players of that side of the game will help you edit for content and wording, and hopefully make sure all regulations are being followed. THat's more for once you have a bigger seed of what to do, though.

If I had a (different) UN member nation that has now CTE'd, am I allowed to apply for UN membership with this nation if I don't refound the other one?

If that nation has CTE'd then yes, it should be fine. To my understanding, when a nation CTEs its WA membership is revoked and said nation has to manually re-apply.

How can you tell how many telegram stamps you have left? To the best of my knowledge, you start out with a certain number of telegram stamps, but then you have to buy more. I have used a grand total of one stamp, and have been unsuccessful in finding out how many I have left.

You do not need stamps to send telegrams. You need stamps to send mass telegrams. So if you telegram more than 8 people with one telegram it will need stamps but other than that no need to fear.

Not "a" new issue, if your economy is really bad, it'll take several. Often at the expense of your environment.

Yup. You need to wait for new issues and answer ones that will improve your economy. It might take quite a few of them to get everything working. As a general rule, you'll want to always favour industry and corporations to get the economy working again.

Nope! Sorry. You can change your pretitle after 500 pop, and found a new nation anytime, but due to some technical mumbo jumbo I'm too tired to go find and quote that basically boils down to "the game tell who you are by your nation's name," your name is permanent. Sorry.
