I would say Evil Wolf's statement applies here as well.

It would be easier to just get Max to ban/destroy the Black Riders, which he should do.

Good luck with that

This isn't the thread for doltish R/D requests anyway.

Why should they join? What incentive do you have? What makes you different from any other defender group?

Well, you see, instead of wanting to "destroy the raider menace", they wish to "destroy the raider menance". >->

The point sails over your heads. I should not have to give you incentive to join, and it should not be about fancy ranks and fancy threads. The point is that a defender group is a defender group, regardless of fancy lettering. It should not be about what I can get from this, its about helping save regions from raiders. Regions are the history on NS. Lose them, we lose the Games history

How ironic of you to say that, when the statement I reiterated completely flew over your head. This organization has no operations under its belt, and you, Canton Empire, have had little to no experience in the field of R/D. It seems the NSLA was baselessly constructed upon ranks and an uncreative name, with no skill or experience associated.

You know your talking about liberation and freedom and getting rid of people to take over, YET YOUR NATION IS AN EMPIRE.

Do not mix gameplay with roleplay, I've seen bad things come out of it >_>

Interesting, so you see yourself as founding a historical artifact/legislation preservation corps.

Very interesting. Call me back when you have 10 active members or so, I may set up negotiations of some sort.

*sigh* ... this is like "the Defender Region Alliance of NationStates" version 2.0 :palm:

I mean: Special 'ranks' and 'divisions'? Check. A terrible and/or uncreative name? You betcha'. Leadership with little to no experience in R/D? Mhm.

To be fair, they had/have a cool name, but fit every other category this falls into :P

Then what you should do is contact some close acquaintances/friends on here and get them to work with you on a few operations, instead of trying your luck in GP, which is not the best 'go-to' option.

And if the above didn't work, start recruiting via other means (hint: telegrams).

I also find it funny that you ignored my points about your little to no R/D experience and the ranks.

It could have been a Balkans-related thing as well ;)

Or try to get experience by dropping the idea of starting your own defender military until later, and doing operations with an established one (nigh-nonexistent as they may be).

You could just do exercises with raider orgs instead of the somewhat-inactive defender ones so you at least have the experience, regardless of R/D orientation.

Well, yeah, you could do that (Liberations are, basically, counter-invasions), but I doubt he'd particularly want to.

That, and some defending things won't exactly be taught to you by raiders.
