UOR is offering free entrance

The Union of Republics is offering free entrance into the region for any nation that has been displaced by invaders or their regional government has under gone a coup.

A list of things that are allowed for free entrance into UOR

1. Region was invaded
2. you were banned from the region
3. A Coup happened in your region and you don't agree with the new regional government
4. UoR is for Serious RP'ers

There are some rules within UOR and they are as follows...

1. The WA Delegate is non-executive
2. The General Council Advisory Committee decides what GC Resolutions get approved for voting by the region
3. All nations must follow GC Resolutions
4. All nations within UOR can submit GC Resolutions
5. The Founder can at anytime remove a GC Resolution if it violates the rules of submission

The RMB for Union of Republics is for RPing your nation's UOR General Council Representative on the current GCC or GCR resolutions at vote all news announcements will look like this **News...News** except with a real announcement between them

No, the region must only be open to those who've been banned from their previous region. It's obviously implied that you aren't welcome if you haven't been banned, meaning they'd have to ban you. Of course, by banning you, they'd make you open to membership in their region.

It's a very subtle scheme.

Asylum for other nations that have been banned or ejected from their starting region

and the region is open for every nation as long as they follow the rules

Union Of Republics offers a real world experience for all nations who join as all nations within UOR will be treated as RL nations.

UOR is a MT and PMT region no future tech unless the founder says otherwise.

some the issues that happen in UOR have once happened in RL or could happen in RL.

God-modding will not be tolerated within the region and every nation is required to have an up to date factbook ether on their nation page or on the forums, if it's on the forums there must be a link to it.

Union of Republics(UoR) is about deep character driven realistic RPs when each nation who joins is treated as a RL nation meaning that your actions will have repercussions in a good or bad way that will mean that each nation can RP what a GCR does to their nation, but not to the point of godmodding like saying that the GCR caused 200mil+ people to die or something of that sort or making something worst than what it is, any effect RP has to stay grounded in reality basically if the General Council was a real organization how would the GCR effect your nation based on RL circumstances.

As of right now UoR is having an election and anyone who joins the region is eligible to run and anyone who joins must have an up to date factbook on their nationpage or the here on the forums with a like to it.

I'm finding it hard to understand how serious a roleplay organisation you are with such unrealistic rp stats as 120 billion citizens...In a modern tech time frame.

Anyone wanting to RP with you is gonna be forced to inflate there's umm....a hundred and nineteen billion or so

it was what I consider to be godmodding if someone were say a GCR caused that amount of life loss or if they were to do that, as an example lets say a GCR was passed that said something a curtain kind farming practice was banned a player could say something like "because of the passage of this bill farmers in my nation are losing profits because they have to work with new farming practices which they have no training in" a player cannot say "200mil+ people in my nation died because of GCR#**" something like is not allowed

GCC = General Council Commend/Condemn
COJR = Court of Justice Ruling
COJF = Court of Justice Function(Used when writing GCRs to add a function to the Court of Justice)

Oh indeed mate - We worry about not having enough food for the world right now...and we have 7 billion people; not 120 billion. I'm sorry but your nation...is..ummm....the most unrealistic example of a roleplay nation...

Like anything realistic there a kinks to be worked out. If there were no problems there would be no region itself. As we work out the final problems we do of course need a better population in order to decide on the best set for these issues.

I do realize you wish to help us by zeroing in on these issues but like anything unique or not commonly used we are aware.

The main purpose of this region is to provide a place where each nation is treated like a real life nation, so realism is the reason I made this region we debate real life issues and edit them so they fit in with the region I also want to make this a place for future politicians to practice their political strategy to better prepare them for real world politics and policies respectful debate is allowed no flame wars. The region is open to all who want to join it as long as they follow the rules listed above in the first post of this thread.
