Conflict is rarely fun for all parties involved. The fun is that you have the opportunity to play the same game we do and defend if you'd like. Or even dabble in the dark arts of raiding. It's much like roleplaying. You may lose a character in a tough battle, but you can keep playing the game. You may lose a region but don't let that discourage you! If I told you the number of regions I lost as a young raider I might just cry out of shame. =P

THat's part of what drove me to a competitive but not harmful sport like rowing. I'll repeat - this is, if anything, one of the most peaceful ways to raid a region. Perhaps someone out there should establish an informative thread or other information source for this kind of stuff - Helping regions refound, etc.

Or... or, we could make a set of instructions to follow, then act selfish and keep it to ourselves.

Sure it sounds bad, but if we make our techniques and methods public, our enemies can easily use them against us. (And of course it be would harder for us to conduct such operation as Tofuline in the future)

Anytime you refound that which the natives were trying to refound, anytime you invade where you weren't asked, and anytime you take what doesn't belong to you you're forcing those people in those regions to abide by the style of play you feel is better. Keep Tofuline. I'm not its founder, nor am I its delegate. Enjoy it, cherish it, and have all the fun you want with it. The natives moved, the new region is the same just under a different name, and we're rebuilding the community.

We have no quarrel with the natives. Have we even interacted with Tofulinearity directly beyond their own incursion into our home region and thread? We're happy to let you live on there! YOu're people too. In a foundered region, you're not targets either. Go about your merry lives, and you need not concern yourselves about us until such time as you once again have no founder.

Point me somewhere where I have said Gameplay is better. If you can, I'll be surprised, as I have no such belief. I enjoy it, yes. Not all do.

And no Souls, when a tenth of a second counts, it's not, at least it's not as easy as you make it sound. Sure, refounding takes seconds, but planning it takes a lot longer. The key is perfect timing. Few seconds off and you would lose everything.

Windows of minutes with the assumption that ONLY the natives are were watching. NEVER make such assumption when you refound. So there you go, a public tip about refounding: Prepare for worst case scenario: Assume that if you are 3 seconds late, someone would take your target.

Would I still have refounded Tofuline if I didn't assume the worst? Maybe... maybe not.

But from what I read on TEK's thread, they didn't assume the worst. Nephmir said he moved almost 1 min before the update, and his buddy took his sweet little time at it. So they paid the price.
