OMG LIEK WTF?
The moderators in their infinite wisdom gave us Versutians a bit of a frantic grab for our statins this afternoon when they without warning permabanned our much-cherished founder, Divair, citing numerous and aggregious violations of a rule nobody quite understood. We had a word with the mods but our requests to have Divair brought back have so far fallen on deaf ears.
Well, whatever. Daddy's DEAT folks. So we're moving onwards and upwards to a new region, The Versutian Federation.
Keen Anglophiles will note that this new region shares the overwhelming majority of its linguistic idenfication traits with the old, except for one small but significant detail: namely the presence of the "The". From now on we will refer to ourselves as "The Versutian Federation", in much the same way as The North Pacific and the fractionally less notable The The Land Of.
What does this mean?
Well, it means that if you're already a Versutian, you'll need to operate your clicking/poking/tapping device, and click/poke/tap on The Versutian Federation, and then click/poke/tap the button to move your nation or nations over there. It's quite simple.
Has anything else moved?
No. Our forum is exactly where it's always been, as is our IRC. None of your stuff has changed in that regard.
Who controls the new region?
Our new founder is Versutia, a nation over whom the VF government has shared control for some time. It means that we can be even faster and reacting to events (in that we don't have to wait until the Founder or Delegate are online), and also Versutia is partly controlled by a bot (which controls our IRC bot), who -- being governed by the three laws of robotics -- will not only be completely untempted to break a rule (known or unknown), but will also rescue Will Smith from a sinking car.
What's happened to Divair?
Some say he is working on building a region in a different game, and that if he was God he'd reach down and unban himself. All we know is, he looks like Ewan McGregor.
