A. Traditional recruiting doesn't work. It's a waste of time.

B. Even if it did work, I'm not going to recruit random-ass nations to join an HP Lovecraft-themed region. If they don't know who Lovecraft is, they really have no business here. If I start welcoming an influx of nations whose leaders have never even heard of HP Lovecraft, and I have to start catering to their varied interests... Zhit! I might as well fold Lovecraft Country and run for the delegacy of the North Pacific!

No, except when targeted specifically to other HP Lovecraft-themed nations, telegram recruiting is out. Getting the word out is what this thread is for.

It might not be very reflective of real-world America, but if there was one image that I believe would depict everyday life in Lovecraft Country, that would be it!

(And P.S. That image is a parody of a different piece of art made by a radical right-wing American clerical fascist. And if you think the image in the spoiler above is creepy-scary, the original one that it parodies is downright terrifying to any real American who believes in the real American ideals of pluralism, freedom of conscience, separation of church and state, etc. But anyway...)
