The Communist Party of NationStates is a Party and Region devoted to the spread of Marxism-Leninism and the support of Marxist-Leninist goals and revolution around the world. We are in support of the world's revolutionary parties, and will defend, promote and develop the theoretical contributions of all major Marxist-Leninist figures (such as Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Stalin), and support action along the lines of their theories. The Party exists to bring revolutionary class consciousness to the politically minded players of NationStates, as a means of increasing the political influence of Marxism-Leninism and communist parties worldwide.

Population
At the time of posting, thirty-nine nations reside within the region, either as Party members or simply regional residents. All socialist nations are welcome in the Party - membership is not exclusive, although there are some conditions.

Interregional Affiliations
The Party maintains a large number of embassies with various leftist and liberated regions and is a leading member of the The Left Interregional. Furthermore, the Party maintains strong ties with major leftist regions as a new policy of active interaction is being evaluated in the Party. The Communist Party of NationStates, while isolationist in the past, now looks forward to a future that's internationalist in nature.

Military Policy
The Party is active in anti-fascist efforts around NationStates, conducting most of its operations through the Regional Defense Committee. The RDC is a 'mixed bag' of sorts, unique in its strong stance of defending comrade regions, as well as lending a hand to other leftist organisations in their operations, when we are needed.

Features
Theoretical discussion and debate is a passion of many members of the Party and endeavoring for political excellence is the overall objective of the Party leadership. Primarily, the Party is an educational region, dedicated to expanding the influence and increasing the appeal of revolutionary Marxism-Leninism to the users of NationStates.

The Party enjoys a firm application of the principles of democratic centralism and Party Conferences are being prepared for the future. An organised Central Committee acts as the political leadership for the Party and guides discussion into productive areas. Further, a regional newspaper, The Bell, has recently been established and has great potential to improve the organisation of the Party and the quality of its theoretical work.

Plans for the future
The consolidation of the NationStates Left and increased cooperation between revolutionary Marxist-Leninist regions are the main priorities of the Central Committee. Secondary objectives include the gradual increase of Party membership, so as to foster a more inclusive and active region with quality debates.

The Internationale is a broad coalition of left-wing nations, from Marxist-Leninists to anarchists.

Population
There are currently 227 nations within The Internationale, though this is inflated from members moving into the region for defense (or for less noble reasons) following the moderator deletion of our founder, La Pasionaria.

Interregional Affiliations & Military Policy
The Internationale is a participatory region of The Red Fleet, which is now headquartered at The Red Army, which is a leftist mixed raider-defender organization. Membership in TRF is not required of members as The Internationale is not a strictly military region. The Internationale is closely tied to Antifa and maintains embassies with over 150 leftist regions.

Unique Features
Regional policy is decided upon through consensus, so all members hold equal veto power over all regional legislation. This includes embassies, diplomatic relations, and all other matters of official policy.

The Internationale is open to members of a wide variety of leftist ideologies without restrictions placed upon gameplay category, so our ranks include Marxism-Leninists, anarchists, anarcho-communists, syndicalists, and subscribers just about any left-wing school of thought you can imagine. The Regional Message Board is frequently host to discussions and debates about ideology.

Plans for the future
Since Comrade La Pasionaria has been deleted, our most crucial plans for the future are to secure the region against right-wing invasion, through the assistance of The Red Fleet, the Democratic Socialist Assembly, the Communist Party of NationStates, Eurasia, the Regional Defense Committee, Argentina, and the Social Liberal Union (among others, I'm sure). Once the region is secured, a more permanent solution will be found.

North Korea

Short description:
North Korea is a democratic region that celebrates "State Socialism", "National Liberation", and the "Socialist Oriented Market Economy"; that is the former socialist nations of the 20th century and current states including Cuba, Vietnam, China, DPRK and nations struggling for independence from empire such as Palestine, Korea or Indigenous peoples. Currently North Korea is the only pro-North Korean region on Nationstates and therefore enjoys a large interest from the outside community. An educational region historically, North Korea also uses WA nations to fight the reactionary and fascist nations of Nationstates.

Military policy:
North Korea engages right wing capitalist, imperialist and fascist regions with the Korean Peoples Army, also challenging professed left wing comrades in their actions and statements on Nationstates. North Korea runs on a "No Platform" agenda for reactionaries and is particularly hostile towards racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia and general ignorance.

Unique feature/character?
We are a unique region in that we have recovered from a fascist refounding. North Korea was a socialist region from 2009-2011 then for a year was occupied and refounded by falangist forces, again liberated by socialists mid 2012.

The region is home to, and generally headed by "Maxist-Feminists" the last WAD before the fascist occupation. A political zealot and the first founder of The Communist Party of Nationstates she visited the DPRK in March 2013.

North Korea has a link to the DPRK's satellite tracking in its WFE. In real time you can watch the DPRK satellite orbit the Earth.

Plans for the future?
To continue to progress revolutionary socialism in real life and on Nationstates by any means necessary. To take into account the changing conditions of the class struggle throughout the world and report on them to Nationstates. To bring forth socialist unity and progressive action on Nationstates by building and maintaining good relations with comrades and fighting all that is reactionary to the working class and student struggle.

The People's Commonwealth of Eurasia is a Socialist Commonwealth. We recognize both the progressive forces and ideologies which Eurasia has produced, as well as the ancient civilizations which have endowed her with a rich history and a variety of vibrant cultures. We support Socialist solutions for the problems facing our world as well as clean & green initiatives to create a more fair, equal and sustainable world for all peoples.

In both everyday life and NationStates history has shown us one undeniable lesson: that where oppression, exploitation and hate exist the suffering and exploitation of the majority will persist. To create a more fair and equal world it is the responsibility of all men and women to pursue social justice and equality, a greater understanding and acceptance of the vast array of unique cultures present in our world, maintaining a stance against imperialism, injustice and exploitation, and maintaining a defensive offensive against the forces of hate, fascism and oppression.

The current population of Eurasia stands at thirteen nations.

Interregional Affiliations:

The People's Commonwealth has been expanding its relations, establishing many embassies with our comrade regions in the past few months. We're also exploring the possibility of establishing an inter-regional alliance of Leftist regions which would focus on building cultural and military links and mutual assistance in a range of fields.

Military Policy:

As a member of the Regional Defense Committee Eurasia commits itself to assisting in the defense of the broader Left and has participated in antifascist operations with comrades from around the world. We're presently looking to expand our contributions to both defensive operations to secure comrade regions in need, as well as increasing our operations against fascist-held regions under a policy of no platform.

Features:

As a region Eurasia believes in universal engagement, allowing all Eurasians a chance to participate in the region at all levels. Eurasians elect both a Vanguard Revolutionary Council (sets forth regional policy and doctrine, protects Eurasia from political stagnation/corruption as well as threats, either foreign or domestic) and the Ministers of State who are responsible for the day-to-day governance of the region.

Eurasia continues to refine its Constitution to ensure our region remains one where the people hold the power, not a handful of influential members who simply shift seats every once in a while.

We're also looking to expand our horizons with publications covering issues of concern both in everyday life and NationStates and are presently holding a regional conversation to further develop Eurasian cultural institutions.

Future Plans:

Eurasia plans to further develop as a region, building ties with comrades from around the world while also expanding its commitments to defensive and offensive operations. As mentioned before plans are on the table to form an inter-regional alliance of mutual aid and assistance, and I have high hopes that this alliance will help our younger comrade regions establish themselves.

[The Peoples Socialism]

The Democratic Socialist Assembly is currently one of the largest explicitly socialist regions in NationStates, called home by nearly 400 comrades. Dedicated to the advancement of Democracy, Equality, Solidarity and Freedom (the Assembly's official motto), people come before profit at all times. Both capitalism and dictatorship are treated with skepticism by its community of democratic socialists, social democrats, marxists, anarchists and syndicalists. Membership in this friendly community is open to all that respect civil rights and political freedom, and freedom of speech and debate is considered the crown jewel of the region.

Members are free to participate in military gameplay, better the world through the WA, participate in regional government, debate with their comrades in the Great Debate Hall, show off their creative side in the Design Studios or simply sit back and enjoy some chicken wings in the arcade. Anyone can get involved, for better or worse, and the DSA is always looking to better itself and, more importantly, the left of NationStates.

399 at time of posting though this may be low due to recent aid the DSA has given to a leftist region in danger.

Military Policy:

The DSA officially maintains a neutral military policy and only officially acts in defence of its allies. Individual members are free to independently participate in military activities as they see fit.

Unique Feature:

A well-organised, compassionate and engaged community, as proven in the Z-Day zombie cure efforts. We also are unique in the way we let all types of leftists have a voice. If you are a Marxist, socialist, social-democrat, anarchist, it matters not. You can find a home in the DSA.

Plans for the Future:

The DSA plans to continue its recent growth, expand its foreign relations and fight inactivity and apathy inside the region.

[Marxist Kommunists]

Das Kommune is a small region that opposes tyranny in the world and in NationStates. Past regions have united to form Das Kommune, thus enabling the region to have two unified communities at once. We have somewhat active politics and allow leftists of all kinds to enter our region.

We love to work with other leftist regions, so long as there is no element of tyranny or right-wing politics in said region.

Military policy (e.g. raider/defender/mixed/neutral)

We believe that the best way to fight tyranny is through diplomacy (closing embassies, peace talks, starting riots, etc.). We respect regional sovereignty. Therefore, our only military activity is to defend other regions from any sorts of invaders. The only regions that we do not defend are fascist regions and other blatantly right-wing regions.

Unique feature/character?

Das Kommune is a union of several regions. We have mixed our forms of government to form one democratic government. Also, in case you have not noticed by this point, we hate tyranny. Thus, we share our founder among trustworthy members of the region.

We plan to increase our population and to obtain more allies. We also plan to have a more involved regional government.
