Hello there, currently looking for any able fingered artists to take up a little challenge of creating the flag for my future tech nation, The Tribal Empire of Ogher'la. I have no real idea of the design I want so I'm going to throw a few details about the Empire down below and I'll let you talented people take a stab at it and see what comes of it. TG me if you happen to be interested, just so I can remember to check this thread for updates.

Onward, to the details!

1.) The Tribal Empire of Ogher'la is organized roughly by seven great tribes, each with a flame based symbol as their banner, who adminster the Empires territories between them. All answer to an elected Emperor, who is chosen from amongst the current Tribal leaders at the time after the death of the current Emperor. When a tribal leader ascends to the Crystalline Throne (the seat of power for the Emperor), he forfeits his tribal lands to the next in line.
2.) The Ogher people are born from crystals, but resemble the Ogre's of Warcraft lore.
3.) The state religion of the Empire is known as The Way of The Firebrand. Fire is considered sacred amongst the Ogher people, those who live great lives are burned on magnificent funeral pyres, those who don't are merely thrown into the dirt.

I'm not sure how to go about with that arrangement, but seeing as I'm a flag maker, I'm not gonna bother with that. Sorry.

As for the flag itself, it was relatively easy to do, just had to make a few adjustments to the eagle... And a bit to the stripes, because I like to differentiate em. If you don't like it, I can always change it really easily. (I keep an editable version of all my flags until people are happy with the result.)

The Boliviaric Republic: I'm a bit confused. where exactly do you want each line? Which objects do you mean are the "exact same colors"? That particular eagle you've linked to has text in the middle of it, but I can try to find a similar one.

I've never put foxes into a flag and made it wonderful before... kinda wish I could've overdecorated it like I do with most of my flags. Oh well, tri-color it is...

This one has a few fixes I didn't apply to the showcase version, so I recommend using this with the ripple effect checked on. As always, I keep an editable version on hand for any quick revisions that are requested within the next couple of days.

I'm overall pleased with the result. Austrian foxes are coming to town! Also, I made the crown and the foxes gold because ARTISTIC LISCENSE! Also because you didn't specify any color, but I prefer to use the former anyway.

May I have a flag also? Sorry if I'm late to this.

I was thinking a fusion of the flags of Imperial Japan, Fascist Italy, and Nazi Germany. The flags they were using during World War II. If possible, no swatsikas as I believe it against NS rules. I'm not exactly sure how it would look so surprise me.

I'd greatly appreciate it if you had the chance to create a flag for me, I've neglected it for too long If what I wrote was completely confusing, don't bother trying to read it, just let me know

I'd prefer to have a lighter Navy Blue background, with an upside down black (scalene) triangle, both upper corners in the upper corners of the flag, coming down towards the bottom, though the third point (center) is a little above the bottom instead of touching it. As a thin border of this triangle, running across all sides besides the one running across the top of the flag, I'd like to try a golden colour (found this as a suggestion:Hex triplet #FFDF00).

That's most of my flag, if it turns out the way I pictured it, then the symbol could be added, but better to scrap only part of it instead of all if I don't like it. Thanks again

Alright, so, after getting your reply and finalizing the finishing details, here's your flag good sir.

I had to make the top part of the shield a solid color because it wasn't going to look right otherwise with a much larger, red diagonal. Size was also a fairly important issue here, but there's not much I can do about it. Hope you like this version better!

I tried to change the color with gimp's color exchange as well, but the result is the same. The program changes one color and ignores the rest.

This is a topic for flag requests, but I'll help you anyway because it's Thanksgiving and I'm contractually obligated going to be nice. If you're using regular microsoft paint, or a weaker tool like that, then odds are you're encountering them being really really annoying and not as potent. PDN is a good free tool that I use. Gimp is even better, and of course, photoshop is the best. The first two are free programs as you already know, but they all have varying "tolerance" sliders that can be fiddly to deal with...

As for your issue with that symbol, it's actually a resolution problem most commonly seen with Jpegs, but can appear in any filetype really. If you zoom in around the edges, you'll see that parts of the star are a different color of black entirely, some are even gray. What you should do is recolor everything to a specific shade of black, and zoom in to make sure this is done. (After cropping out the background.) Then you can use the bucket tool or the same recolor tool to easily change it to whichever color you desire. (Or if you're only going to use it once, just directly recolor it to what you need.) If you're going to use it again in the future, save it as a PNG file with a transparent background, and make sure it's all black. Trust me, it's easier to manage it when you do such. (Jpegs aren't that great...)

You want the red or the yellow in the center? In other words, which replaces the black and which the blue (Excepting the actual shapes). By background do you mean the corners as well?
