I've used the phrase Enim Incolumitas Per Sanitas for years now, and I've only recently stumbled upon this thread. I pray I've not been making a terrible mistake.

'For Security and Sanity'

There are definitely improvements possible, but nothing found therein is a terrible mistake as you say. Enim means "for", but is used primarily as a conjunction, not prepositionally; furthermore, it is postpositive, meaning it could not come first in a sentence or clause. Per means "through", and governs the accusative case.

Since security and sanity to your country are evidently so important as your motto suggests in the English version, they might as well appear in the dative case by themselves: COMPOSITO/SANITATIQUE. In Roman orthography, the dash is absent; its sole function is to tell you where we would place a space under modern practise.

Could certainly have been worse. What about the first word, then? You have a dead-bang grasp of what I'm trying to accomplish.

The first word is the "security" in the dative case; this word tends towards "peace, safety, tranquility", if that's what you mean by security. Dative signifies interest and advantage, in this situation.

My current leader is named Pius, and my current motto is supposed to translate to "Pius, by the Grace of God, Emperor," but I'm not at all sure if "Pius, Dei gratia, Imperator" is correct. Could someone verify this for me, please? I'm also curious about how "Pius, by the Grace of God, Holy Emperor" looks and sounds. Also, if I was to change my leader, would I just switch "Pius" for the new emperor's name?

I'd say gratia Dei rather than Dei gratia, but otherwise that looks good. Holy Emperor would be Imperator Sanctus. And you would indeed just change out Pius with a new name.

Hello!

I'm looking to translate, "Polaris Shines Bright."

Instant translators gave me: "Polaris renidet." When translated back to English, it states, "Polaris grins."

Perhaps there is context I'm missing in the translation, but that sounds a little...odd.

Thank you in advance!

That's because renideo can also mean smile, similar to how in English we might say, "He was so happy that he was beaming".

That said, I'd say Polaris fulgurat, probably.

Thank you! This must be pretty hard, because you have to guess what context the motto is in, right?

Not particularly; it's a fairly simple phrase. Is there context that dramatically changes the meaning from what would be expected?

Fides regi/imperatori, fides Romae.

(imperator, though ancestral to English emperor, is not equivalent to it. In the sense of a hereditary monarchy, rex is more applicable.)

Could you please translate, "Salutations!" and "May you prosper greatly", as they are greetings commonly given by Stormwrathians whenever they meet or part ways respectively.

Although, for mottos, I was looking for one in Latin for my Socialist puppet, and I was wondering if you could also translate the following mottos, "He that labors shall progress", "He that labors shall see progress" or "He that labors shall reap great blessings". After such I will pick one that best suits my puppet. Thanks.

"Salutations!"

To one person: Salve!
To more than one person: Salvete!

"May you prosper greatly."

To one person: Magnopere augescas.
To more than one person: Magnopere augescatis.

"He that labors shall progress."

Qui laborat progredietur.

"He that labors shall see progress."

Qui laborat progressionem videbit.

"He that labors shall reap great blessings."

Qui laborat praemia magne decarpet.
