Also, depending on update order i think a player about to CTE might be elected and then CTE

As amusing as such a situation could be, CTE's happen before the Delegate is elected.

Sounds hilarious. I'm sure there have been plenty, but I've never seen one. But some people are pretty bad at it. There was this one guy from China, I could barely understand him, but that's about it. Or was it Pakistan?

Probably one update, as that's the minimum. I imagine there are a lot of delegacies that lasted that long, especially if you factor in tag raids.

It might be more helpful to ask which was the shortest reign of a delegate in GCR history (I think that might include the accidental coup of TEP(TEP?), or the shortest regime in a GCR.
(FOR LEGAL REASONS, THAT'S A JOKE)

Well, the only way to reign shorter than 1 update is if the delegate got nuked by the mods- which can and has happened, especially in ye olde dayes of the old invasion rules, where griefing a region was basically an insta-DEAT. If we count case like the aforementioned National Socialist griefer, some of his multi-delegate puppets were spotted and nuked within minutes. :p

Hopefully I won't offend anyone with this question from me. But who was the greatest Troll ever to be seen in the history of NS and what did he do?
PACIFICA STAND STRONG

"The only war that matters is the war of the Feederite Class against the Userite. UCR Organizations and Cabals that befoul GCR with their presence, disguised as ruling elite within them, must be removed and their power must be broken. And one we prefer not to answer. Glorifying rulebreakers just encourages other rulebreakers to follow suit. They're a bunch of attention whores, and the best way to deal with them is to delete their trolling and pretend they never existed.

Franco's Spain caused a fascist ideology that's gone on to be a major political factor in other games, GG.

My best guess would have to be something to do with Australia not being anywhere near the Atlantic.

The first issues were the original 30 that Max wrote when the game was first made (neatly listed in full here.)

People think it's annoying when they get repeat issues now, imagine how bad the repeating was when all we had was those 30 in the issues pool! :lol2:

Seems to make the most logical sense. New islands are more likely to form in the Pacific.

To me nit-picky.... If one was elected delegate of a region at the end of a unusually long-running/slow major update, they could be elected around 1:07ish am est, and if followed immediately by an unusually short minor update, lose the position closer to 12:53 est, more around 11 hours, 45 minutes-ish :P But those are some of the more extreme update times I've personally witnessed while riding them, and never back to back.

31 issues, actually. They were just numbered #0 - #30, which confuses some people.

Let's out-nitpick that: there are moments when the update order changes. That's when it is possible for a region which updated at the end of the prior update to update next time at the beginning of the update. For a while update order was even randomized so this happened all the time. This cuts it down to closer to 11 hours. Then there are the update errors: an update that is started an hour or more later than it was supposed to. Or back in the old days... an update which lasted close to 24 hours and had to be killed off because the next one was about to start (updates were 24 hours apart back then).
