Raiders try and take over regions and either hold them as trophies or just vandalize them.
Defenders try and stop the raiders from getting in.

Generally, defenders have a hard time stopping raiders because raiders tend to use unfair advantages to ensure that they will beat the defenders.

If you're saying he's never going to be able to raid again, that's... odd. I've lost count of how many times I've gone from raiding to defending and vice versa, and while there are some regions that won't accept me due to that, there are always at least one or two that don't care and are happy to have me on board. And if there aren't, I always have the option to start my own.

While I may be one of the most infamous for going back and forth on the R/D spectrum, I'm not the only one. The days of people being blacklisted for checking out the other side of the spectrum are basically over.
