Once this scandal passes, someone else will take the limelight. So it has always been, so it shall always be.

Lets not act like this scandal is just the current flavor of the week. Serious site rules violations occurred and the resulting investigation has already lead to one player being declared DOS with possibly more to come. I think it has also done a lot to change moderation's perceptions of how the game is played and making them seriously consider how we will be playing it in the future.
