A large potted plant in a big plantpot with wheels suddenly comes to life, revealing a large leaf curled up to form a cone, from which a somewhat hissing voice can be heard:

"We have followed the debate, occasional name-calling and random wild bewilderment with mild interest, and while this would once more be a WA resolution that has little to no effect for us - after all, our selves are essentially just one person - we still find it ridiculous to suggest that the WA nations whom this law would affect, could not or did not already have such legislation in place, without the WA holding their hand or other relevant appendage. As such we have decided to vote against in protest of adding yet more needless bureaucracy to the pile of resolutions."

OOC: Purely IC reasons for voting against, congrats in advance for passing it. :)

OOC:I'm basically for this.. The ignorance part can be in part A.how you can't be sued, etc, for donations, and how if a hidden law is there, you weren't warned, and it's not something morally serious, you're less accountable.

There are no hidden laws. No Penalty Without Law already guarantees that all laws are publicly promulgated.

I am against this, this interferes with the nations right to choose how they treat their prisoners and worse of the worst.

OOC: I'm unsure whether you meant to go to the thread on Crime and Punishment or whether you simply don't understand the conception of having your nation go pass some laws allowing such things.

I imagine that they are opposed due to the several restrictions this resolution does impose on executions. Such as those prohibiting the execution of children.

EDIT: Hehe. Maybe I should have followed your instructions as well. :P
