As a woman, I find that rather offensive that you'd liken my entire sex to those 14 year old keyboard-smashing freaks on Tumblr. Come now. Hey, you catched my reference. It's probably my fault for not making it clear but the whole Dumblr thing was sarcasm. #triggered I know it was a joke. :P

I think the club is abhorrant for its exclusion but unless it's run by the government, I am not going to support any move to force it to change its policies or to close down considering that it's a social club and social clubs are generally exclusive. You know, I kind of want to create a women-only...

I've comprised a list of all the potential cabinet positions from the LDP thread and I think the Democratic Left can challenge for the following positions if we get the member base together. Pres. - Eugenia Malgrave DPM - Min. of Agriculture and Rural Affairs - Min. of Finance - Sebastián Luc Moral...

Getting to Foreign Affairs Act, while its purely aesthetic, wouldn't it be better for president to recognise or rescind recognition of nations based on request from foreign ministry either out of minister's own accord or as mandated by parliamentary vote. President is the head of state after all. E...

Actually, yeah. The narrative of the CSA inevitably leads to defeat, especially when the Union is stronger in parallel to ATL, and I don't plan for Virginia and Texas to go over to the CSA when the ACW breaks out, due to the (planned) election of moderate Democratic-Republicans, whom will appease b...

The 1860 election will be moderately interesting. Radical Dem-Reps under Charles Sumner and Schuyler Colfax, the moderates under George Yeaman / James M. Ashley, and the Southern extremists (namely the National Party) under a ticket of George Pendleton / Stephen A. Douglas. Well, I'm going to let y...

( Image ) 1856 election from this TL. Considering the opening, I think I could justify avoiding the D-R party from devolving. :P Well, you have three big factions at the moment: the Southern extremists, the Northern extremists, and the moderates.
