Can i use things like pictures with swastika's on FORUM POSTS? Since its banned on flags You can but exercise caution with your use. If you're doing it for RP, it is likely acceptable, but as an out-of-character glorification/celebration of Nazi politics and its regime, let's not. Pictures for hist...

The use of "(((ECHO)))" tags is trolling. Although the team recognizes that there are efforts to reclaim the (((*))) triple parentheses from Neo-Nazis, it's likely that all instances will be treated as trolling. We aren't unreasonable and will consider all reports on a case-by-case basis a...

There is no doubt that you provided the links, or that you were within your rights to defend yourself. However, there are posts there which are spam, and the one quoted by Kat for the warning had unnecessary commentary. The warning is justified. Your appeal is denied.

Would like to note to the Honorable Ambassador that such language is not to be used in Resolutions.

Limited use, such as this, have been done in the past. It is not contrary to the proposal rules.

This is horrifying! We cannot have an all mod-appointed council! It'll be largely made up of GA regulars. They nitpick and tear apart every proposal down to the letter! It'll be nigh impossible for any newcomer or average player to submit a proposal that's not catering to the views of a select few ...

Nothing has been decided yet. There's still opinions on our side too as we consider the merit of the suggestions here and alter our own views. Someone earlier complained that the WA gets too hung up discussing minor legalities instead of debating the broader issue. And just look at this discussion: ...

GA posts aren't always objective because there is politicking and roleplaying. Objective would be (for example) an OOC post demonstrating applied knowledge even if it's criticism. Therefore a single direct question to a prospective candidate would be a possibility. They could be asked a question th...

@ara: I also co-authored one or two resolutions but was never listed because as a general rule I do not accept co-author credit. This is why I consider it a good idea not to automatically exclude players based on whether they've authored a proposal. Co-authors, even uncredited ones deserve the same...

You guys want to cut down the moderator workload - and to do this, you're going to set a bunch of players an exam on WA knowledge and mark them? This is getting to be like Alexander trying to untie the Gordian Knot by tying an even complex knot around it. I could have asked "how would it be de...

The only way I can think to make sure the candidates are qualified is to subject their candidacy to approval by the appointed members. They can approve anyone who is qualified and WA members can then elect one of them. Might still smack of "elitism," but this is not a People Power movemen...

Not really, no. People who are active in the gameplay part can probably fairly easily get their friends/allies/acquaintaces to vote the way they want (or antagonize enemies deliberately to vote opposite of their perceived favourite). For those who argue that one doesn't need to be a resolution author to rule on legality, that's true. But Ard was a mod, not part of a mod-appointed council of players. Actually I thought it was kind of forceful and entirely contradictory Clauses 1, 2c, 2d, 3, 4, 5 (ish) and 6 all require us to enact certain gun laws, but Clause 7 tells us "we have a right to our own laws" - meaning we can do what we want in relation to any laws about guns. So - which is...
