Hmm, technically, under The Coalition government, Belschaft was declared a "Security Threat" and unable to hold citizenship in TSP, much less any sort of elected office. How much money you want to lay down that The Coalition government will re-enforce his declaration the instant they are ...

Last night I spent 3 hours discussing a compromise that would end the in-fighting and allow for Sandaoguo, Kringalia, and Farengeto to return to the region. A compromise that would have allowed for a vote via an in-game poll to confirm that a Constitutional Convention was needed. Tsunamy in this com...

From a brief read of your charter, Cormac actually seems to be correct, as much as it irritates me that him and Hile are rules lawyering in some perverse attempt to de legitimise the legitimate authorities. Who wrote the Charter of TSP and why is it such a self crippling mess? The Charter was origi...

Kris, I think you forgot to point out that under the Charter (that has been dissolved), the CSS has no authority to declare a State of Emergency unless requested by the Delegate (me). It should also be noted that I am still the Delegate of the Coalition Government, unless the CSS has also empowered ...

Thank you for this thrilling contribution to the debate dynamic of this thread. Given that The East Pacific, in this specific instance, was from how I read it brought up relation to Operation Brave Little Toaster, something very much relevant to The South Pacific, I'm not sure what the issue is wit...

There was no Assembly vote. The move wasn't done by passing a law. There was a discussion with an opinion poll.

That isn't true. the move to IPB wasn't voted on. The move to the second zetaboards forum wasn't voted on till after the fact the first one became available again. Then the vote was on whether to go back not should we stay. I never said that no forum had been moved to before a vote - I said "N...

Re: Embassy of the South Pacific

Even if you were correct. Which you arent. That would require more than one member of the CSS to say that. Which they aren't.

Nowhere in "the laws" does it say the Delegate is the person who decides the region is under threat. That's the role of the CSS. It's an inconvenient thing, these "laws". You see, obviously if Milograd had requested military support TNP would have had no legal obligation to supp...

Re: Embassy of the South Pacific

And while Hileville's new forum is being set up, he's launched a new discussion thread: " Appointed Cabinet Omnibus Bill ". A number of citizens are pushing for the discussion to wait for players to be validated. One can't help but think this isn't extremely convenient timing; move forums...

Sounds like a popular coup to me, with the ones who are complaining the most, and most primarily, being those who were Admins on the old forums. What's the real issue here, Glen? The fact that the forums were moved or the fact that you lost a great political bargaining chip? If I remember correctly...

I've officially requested that our Permanent Justice recuse himself on any and all legal matters relating to these events. He too was directly affected by the Cabinet's executive order removing border control powers.

The Cabinet has no authority to create new forums, except in cases of the existing forums being inaccessible. The Cabinet broke no law moving the forums. The forums will still reside at the legal domain (thesouthpacific.org). The only legal definition of the forums was that they reside at that doma...

TSP really is the drama Pacific. Your cabinet has the power to legally neutralise CSS members? Seems to me that rather defeats the point of the CSS. I see Hileville has managed to maneuver back into being the admin of the TSP forums though, after having been removed not all that long ago. It is a l...

The South Pacific, The West Pacific [Tied] 5. Lazarus 6. Balder, Osiris [Tied] 7. The Rejected Realms 8. 1000...

This condition seems to be more about getting TWP to conform to TSP's preferred system rather than TSP just wanting TWP to recognise TSP's system. If they connect the two, it's a possible sign of changing ideas about delegate legitimacy. TSP has never demanded a region change its governing system f...
