I've noticed there have been changes in which message is displayed in the Boneyard: - Chester Pearson now says "site supporter" - Nierr and The Doom Legions now say "soiled by a former nation (of significant size) Was this fixing a glitch, or an intentional change? See: https://forum...

Yep, this was a coding error. Should be fixed now. Ballotonia Fixed the error message, but the bigger point I was trying to make is that the search feature isn't that useful. If you search for "Weed" you don't actually get Weed. Is there any way that the result that matches exactly appear...

I'm pretty sure that silent banlist clears are relatively new behavior.. particularly since basically everyone was surprised (and either pleased or irritated) by discovering it during this coup. As Reppy pointed out, and I am confirming now, that behavior has been in place for many many years. I th...

The HISTORY page says: v1.4 (29-Apr-03) ---------------- [...] - There are now several default Pacific regions for new players Since the update before that was 10-Dec-02, that's quite the gap. I can't look it up in the code repository either, since that only started in 2004. Unless Max has old backu...

I also seem to vaguely recall (*based on memory not actual photographic evidence or anything) historically, that if a nation makes quorum and falls below quorum, it has an update or so to get back to quorum. But, honestly, I'm not a techie, so I'm not really sure on that. Nope, the system ...

You can read the speculation here: Endr was deleted and the mass telegrams they sent out also deleted. The update actually has deliberate pauses built into it, mostly to avoid hogging all the CPU cycles, but also to allow gameplayers time to react. If it's really a problem, the admins can adjust the length. I don't believe anyone has looked at update timing since the Reddit invasion, mostly because ...
