The Imperium, or more formally, the Second Holy Imperium of Earth. A spacefaring empire of feudal planets united under the Emperor. Individual planets are generally autonomous, paying a tithe in return for semi-independence. The Imperium operates a large Navy, capable of shutting down most rebellions by its reputation alone.
